Like the title says, I'm getting a new PC and I'd like to take the files from Fallout NV and 3, plus TTW off of my old PC and put them onto my new one using an external drive. Is there anything I would need to do to ensure the game is still functional, such as update folder directories or anything like that since they will obviously be different since they're on a different computer? What I mean by that is that where TTW looks for the game files (for example "C:user/Appdata/Steam/FalloutNV" something like that) will obviously be different since it's not on the same machine, and I'm afraid that might break the game. Is there anything else I should be worried about? The reason I don't want to do a fresh TTW install is because I had a very bad experience installing it on my old computer. I had to install around 5+ separate times and spent about 30 solid hours trying to figure out why it was not working and to fix it. I don't want to have to mess with that again if I can help it. Any advice or help you can provide is much appreciated.
I'm getting a new PC, what would I need to do to make sure TTW still works if I manually load the files off a drive?

You can install FNV using
You can install FNV using steam on your new machine and then just copy the FNV folder from your old machine over top of it. You should also copy your FalloutNV folder in the Documents/My Games folder so you have the any ini changes made to your old install.
Everything should work fine after that. I've moved my FNV folder that way without any issues.

If you use a Mod Manager you
If you use a Mod Manager you will need to copy all the stuff from its mod directories into the mod directories for them on the new computer too. Or problems might appear when you try to change your LO.
For example, if your mod manager puts the mods in something like "C:\Games\Fallout New Vegas\Mods" then, you should install your mod manager in your new computer and check it's settings and see what directory it is using for the mods folder. Then just place the stuff from your old mods folder into the new one too.
Hope that makes sense, I am too tired to sound very coherent today.

Good point, I forgot to mention the mod managers files, thanks Rise. :)

I had an issue where I can
I had an issue where I can only successfully launch TTW from within the Mod Organizer. I was also planning on keeping the files for TTW, the manager and both games on my external drive because my computer has extremely limited space. Would this change anything? I'm also using the steam versions of both games.
