After installation what can be deleted?

Post by megamangos » Tue Mar 08, 2016 4:50 pm

I have already uninstalled Fallout 3 from steam but I still have 33 GB between all of the TTW and F:NV folders.  23 of which are in my Steam common folder. It seems like everything in the TTW folder is already present in the F:NV Data folder so can I delete the TTW folder from my drive?  Plus a few of the biggest files in the F:NV Data folder seem to be rather redundant but I would like confirmation before deleting anything such as: Fallout - Voices1.bsa, fallout3 - menuvoices.bsa, and fallout3 - voices.bsa.

The remaining chunk of space is in my mod folder.  Do I need to keep or do anything with the overwrite folder?  I use FOMM if it matters

I have this installed on a laptop's rather small SSD so storage upgrade isn't really an option.

TTW should wind up in your FNV/Data directory when you're finished. If it isn't, you aren't finished. Everything not in your FNV directory can be removed, anything inside that you remove will cause you problems even if you think they are redundant.
