Installer Error, Can't find Fallout3.esm and bsa

Post by Pero » Sat Dec 19, 2015 6:07 pm

Images are worth thousands of words so i'll go right to the point.

http://prntscr.com/9g42o9

I'm on Windows 10, 6GB RAM, Intel Core i3 2100 3.1GHz (4 CPUs), and nobody cares about my AMD Radeon R7 200 Series.

I'm using Nexus Mod Manager for NV mods and FOMM for TTW.

There is no install log.

No need for mod load order since mod can't be installed.

Both are Steam versions with all the DLCs.

What i have already tried? Re-installed both games.

why is there no install log?

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

As you can see on the print the install just stops there, no progress, just freezes, an install log is only generated if the mod is installed.

Not to be annoying, but with these kinds of error reports and especially since the installer isn't even beginning to work for you, I have to ask if you made sure that you have the right .NET frameworks installed (here).

Just a few things:

Just a few things:

  • Make sure you're running the Installer "As Administrator"

  • Make sure your antivirus and firewall are not blocking the installer from accessing your Fallout 3 files

  • Make sure all of your Fallout 3 files and folders are not marked "As Read Only" on their "Properties"

  • Make sure all your Fallout 3 files are proper and not corrupt by using the "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache" on your game's "Properties > Local Files" steam option

  • Make sure your Fallout 3 game is in English language

Hope you can get it to work soon smiley.
