Missing NPC voices while in conversation

Post by Kelvin Nickopoplis » Thu Dec 17, 2015 12:47 am

Operating System:Windows 7 Home Premium

Processor:AMD A6-3670 APU 2.70 GHZ

Memory:4 GB

Mod Manager:Fallout Mod Manager 0.14.11.12

Install log:http://pastebin.com/ZfQAPKnN

Load Order:http://pastebin.com/YyRSNm7B

In the Fallout 3 portion of TTW NPC voices are missing while I'm in conversation except for the "goodbye" messages.  NPC voices out of conversation have no problem.  There is no lip movement while the NPCs are supposed to be speaking but the subtitles show up just fine.  This problem does not occur in the New Vegas portion of TTW.  Voices also work fine when I'm playing Vanilla FO3 and Vanilla TTW.

I've tried it both with and without TTW Fixes and TTW Unofficial Patch the main reason I installed those two mods in the first place was to see if they'd fix the voice problem.  I've also tried reinstalling TTW and rebuilding everything.  None of these methods have yielded any success.

I'm using the Steam Game of the Year Edition of Fallout 3 and the Steam Ultimate Edition for Fallout New Vegas

Sounds like you didn't apply archive invalidation and also maybe the fomod didn't install correctly.

I unapplied then reapplied archive invalidation which did nothing

So I removed TTW from my mod manager, deleted my TTW folder, and reinstalled TTW from scratch.  Seemed to fix the problem from what I can tell
