Installer Crash

Post by Datginger3 » Fri Dec 11, 2015 8:57 am

So i decided to try and install TTW for the first time tonight and it works fine until it gets to the part were it goes to created the assets for the Pitt where it just crashes. I've tried redoing the install several times and the bar will get anywhere from half way to millimeters from the end. Anything that could help would be appreciated.

OS: Windows 8.1 x64

CPU: i5 4690 3.50GHz

MEM: 8gb DDR3

I don't know that any of the other information is applicable, but if you need anything else I'll do my best. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Are you installing using FOMM, NMM or Mod Organizer? If you are using NMM then don't. It has issues when installing TTW. FOMM has always worked for me without issues but others have had problems with that as well.

I think the TTW install log could provide some information in this case, so if you could upload it I bet it would help finding the cause of the crash.

I've attached the first and last time I tried to install it, as for the mod manager I'm using I haven't even gotten there (Though I will be using FOMM) because I can even get the mod to construct(?) properly.

The core files have been built successfully. If the fomod building is crashing then it might be an issue with your antivirus or UAC.

That hash isn't much to go on... maybe scorpion would know.
