No Companion Response / PN Cyberware Issue

Post by Hibiro » Tue Aug 25, 2015 4:19 am

As far as I can tell, Companon commands don't work. So far I've only recruited Dogmeat, but nothing I say to him works. Whatever I click on on the Companion Wheel doesn't have a response. I'm not sure if it's just Dogmeat, or if it'll be all the companions for me, as I haven't recruited anyone else.

On top of that, Doc Church doesn't give me the option to install the implants, despite the fact that I got the manual from Craterside Supply.

I am also getting crashes and freezes whenever it loads areas. Not always, but they're quite frequent.

My mod manager is FOMM and load order are:

Your game is messed up, you

Your game is messed up, you'll have to start over.

Remove YUP, It is included in TTWFixes. It really pays to read around here, it's highly recommended you do so when installing TTW mods. Having this installed and placed in your load order where it is, is going to break everything.

PN esm's (and esp's which have esm flag) go at the end of your esm's, and the esp's go first directly after them.

need to be before

You may also wish to use the version I made since you are also using extra options. If it IS the version I made, I'd be surprised if your game even loads.

You have no merge or bash patch, there's lots of information around on how to create these. Your game will NOT function properly without one.

You have unused plugins in your Data folder, if you aren't going to use them then delete them. The game will index the plugins anyway and they can cause issues if they are activated or not.

I did read around, I probably

I did read around, I probably just missed some stuff. Can get overwhelming trying to get things to work.

I did all that, and I AM using your patch. The companions work well, but I still get the odd crash or freeze, even after starting a new game.

Also, it seems that upon leaving craterside supply with the manual, it is automatically removed from my inventory.

Check the performance thread

Check the performance thread for how to help crash proof and optimize the game.

As for the manual, you sure you weren't caught stealing?
