CTD when after choosing custom race in Vault 101

Hello,





I'm brand new to TTW, but I do know my stuff in modding (been in the community since Oblivion^^).



So after some thinking, I wanted to try TTW. Which by the way looks awesome.



I did install everything I needed, no FO3 mods. My issue is that I use a custom race from Fallout Character Overaul New Vegas version (race is Hispanic 20 Alt). When I use my old save with that same character it works fine, but when I want to start a new game in Vault 101, I get the cinematic, scripts with James and the nurse for choosing my sex, my name, and race. After choosing the race (when I press Finish), it's instant CTD. So it's obviously linked to the race. I didn't tried with vanilla races yet.



I downloaded mods for Tranquility Lane quest, FO3 Ending for custom races but they didn't help my case as I thought they could ^^



I searched on google but couldn't find anything about it, did I missed something ?





Here are my spec + load order and stuff if that can help.

Custom Races aren't supported for use with TTW because most of them are not made properly and the CTD is probably caused by dad trying to match your race.

Or because the game is trying to make you the non-existant child race for the race you chose.

So I guess it would be better to have an alternate start like the one that places you right after the events of Vault 101 or simply start in the Mojave right?

It would be best to use a vanilla race. It would be slightly less good to fix the races manually to meet the same specifications as vanilla races, and finally you could probably make due with choosing a vanilla race then switching to another with the V101 exit menu. If you'd prefer starting in NV I assume that's fine, but most folks like starting in V101.

Ooh you're right, been so long I haven't played FO3 that I forgot you could still make changes until you leave the vault XD
