Install Issues

Post by kmcdow » Sun Jul 05, 2015 2:04 am

Hi.

I recently purchased fallout 3 goty and fallout nv goty on steam after learning about ttw online. I followed the install instructions as closely as possible. In fallout mod package manager, it says that I've installed the mod, but when I go to install the optional files, it says that I need to install the main mod, and none of the ttw mods are showing up in my load order. I've seen other posts on the forum with similar issues but have yet to find a fix that works for me. I have adequate space on my hard drive, I have clean versions of F03 and NV with all the DLC, and I copied the ttw mod files over to my NV folder under C:/Games.

Does anyone know what the issue is or how I could fix it? I would greatly appreciate any help because I'm really excited to try out this mod, it sounds awesome.

what mod manager are you useing. most of them cant handle the big file for the TTW main so what i do is just copy and pasta the file to fallout New Vegas data folder and then install the optionals useing the mod manager but make sure you tick the esm from the load order.

Install manually: drag/drop the plugins and bsa files from where you installed TTW, initially into NV/data. Make these edits to your initialization files as described here, in the FAQ.
