One thing that seems to be out of whack with TTW compared to vanilla Fallout 3 is the recommended travel routes you get on the map, at least in the Capital Wasteland. For instance, my char is at the part in the Reilly's Rangers quest when she should return to the Ranger HQ in Seward Square. I'm pretty sure the advice in the vanilla game is to go there via Anacostia Crossing Station, but with TTW I get a completely bizarre recommended travel route, with forks to nowhere etc. The advice is that my char should go from Megaton to the bridge close to the Springvale School where there a bunch of Raiders. Or perhaps to a place on the ground below it. Anyway, it seems almost completely haphazard. In my case it doesn't matter so much as I find my way around the Capital Wasteland, but I thought I'd point it out. Not sure what's causing it. See attached screenshot for example of what I'm describing above.

Only thing I can think of is: "Busworld active?" That has known issues regarding map marker routes.

Hm, you're partly right. That is, I added Busworld yesterday and when checking now, I do get a different route without it, so it seems to mess with the routes. But the thing is that I've had odd routes from the game start, i.e. without Busworld. And when checking it without Busworld now, I still get a weird, although different, route, which wants me to go via Tepid Sewers and whatnot. In short, Busworld seems to mess it up even more, but I have the issue without it as well. Screenshot w/o Busworld:

Looking at that route, It's actually the most efficient (assuming you've cleared the metro stations in between) one. And it does seem to route through Anacostia crossing, it just might not look that way since you're entering it via Metro Central and Museum Station. The Map Marker locations can be an inaccurate way to judge.
Also, as a suggestion to anyone using Busword: Map the Metro System. There's one online, I've done one on paper, and once you get a feel for it you can navigate very easily.

OK, thanks. Might have been the messed up route with Busworld that convinced me that my raised eyebrows in other cases indicated that something was up with it.
