Which changes a ton of the whole DC worldspace. So actually normal.
Slow loading saves

The only way I can keep my load times down is to uninstall TTWOptions.esp, start game, make a new save, reinstall TTWOptions, and use the new save. I do this about once a week. Whenever load times get over 15-20 seconds I do this and load times drop back to 5-10 seconds.

I figured I would chime in on
I figured I would chime in on this thread since I'm experiencing rather long load times for my save games. My current save is just over 82 and a half hours in. I timed my last load and it took 4 minutes and 52.4 seconds to load the game.
I tried loading a clean save without TTW Options installed and it didn't change anything (My load times were still between 4:40 and 5:00.) I also tried the stopquest / startquest experiment posted by Roy with no changes in savegame load times.
My save file is only 20.6 MB which seems insignificant and my PC is more than capable (my hardware specs are in my profile if anyone cares.)
I've attached my current load order. I don't think there are any catastrophic problems with it, but I am a noob when it comes to organizing it correctly. (Yes I am aware there are a bunch of inactive mods at the bottom of the list. They are all stuffed into the bashed patch and I left them there just to make rebuilding the bashed patch easier. I tried to load the save game with those active, inactive, removed completely, the bashed patch removed, etc, no change in load times.)
If there are any horrible problems with the load order, please let me know. :)
I'll probably start a fresh game in a week or so if you want me to try anything different with it.
EDIT: Would the use of absurd graphics override settings in the NV Control panel screw with the load times or anything?

So I've been playing non-TTW
So I've been playing non-TTW New Vegas for the same amount of time with identical mod set-up. Loading saves took 1-2 seconds. Pretty much a gigantic difference to my TTW playthrough and confirms that the increased loading times is an issue with TTW itself and no way getting around it.
So people with long save loading times will just have to bear with it. At least it's a better incentive to play better and choose your moves carefully to avoid dying/reloading.

I dumped in my old TTW save, level 50, 31 MB, 238 hours, takes 48 seconds to load.
I will play on this save a bit and see if it magically starts to take long and longer to load.

I've never used TTWOptions
I've never used TTWOptions and am running 2.9.4a.
My loading times from the menu are about 30-40 seconds, my quickloads are just over 40 seconds.

I'm also having loading times
I'm also having loading times of up two minutes, granted my game is heavily modded but I've tried disabling all mods except TTW and it's masters and my game still takes at least a minute to load. I've tried making a clean save without TTW options, I've tried messing around with my bashed patch, I've tried using a merged patch instead of the bashed patch, I've tried messing with my ENB settings and Fallout ini's and nothing changes the load times.
My save files are only at 12 MB's at 27 hours in, might be helped by the fact that I don't use one save, but 20 saves (the maximum allowed by CASM). I've played every version of TTW with a heavy load order since 2.4 and 2.9 is the only version that's given me this problem.
If I can provide more information to help, please let me know. Here's my load order, I'm also running the latest TTW 2.9.4b - http://pastebin.com/PGvddb1L

hrm, it's going to be difficult to isolate the problem if this is indeed the case.

Anyone else have experiences with TTW prior to the latest versions? Are there any differences?

I never had this issue with
I never had this issue with any other version of TTW. Even tried the disabling TTWOptions fix and had no luck. Loading a save when I start the game takes about a minute and a half. After that, I can't even try to load another save after loading the initial save. It will only do an infinite loading screen after that.
