Not sure if it's a bug or not but...

I started out in vault 101 and when I lvl'd up I chose the "educated" perk that has 10 ranks. It's the perk that lets you choose an extra s.p.e.c.i.a.l attribute point each time. When I got to the 8 rank I took the train to New Vegas and woke up in Doc Mitchells house without any problems. When Doc wanted me to use the vigor machine I had to minus my 8 perk points that I put into the educated perk in order to get the vigor to work so I could leave his house. Which isn't that big of deal but I lose those points and the perk doesn't reset because I checked, it doesn't give them back to me. I guess you can only have a certain amount of attrib points when you leave doc's house. So I end up with only 2 educated perks instead of the 10 I should have for the game.

You guys have made a real stable mod here. I couldn't run MMM in the past it would ctd my rig every time there was more than 1 mob on my screen. Now I play with AWOP and MMM and it chuggs a little but I dont crash woohoo! I am just amazed at how well the game plays now. I think after having both games since release I can finally play it to the end without frustration and headaches :)

If you want I can post my loadorder and such if you want them.

Educated gives you 2 more

Post by TrickyVein » Fri Jun 12, 2015 3:48 am

Educated gives you 2 more skill points to spend every time you advance a level.

Intense Training lets you add a SPECIAL point up to a max of 10.

So tell us again what happened? A load order would be most helpful.

Yes it was the intence

Yes it was the intence training perk sry. Well in order to leave doc Mitchell's house I had to use the vigor so I thought I would just right click to the last attribute like always and close the vigor but I couldn't close it. I couldn't choose any attributes until I gave back my 8 points I had already used previously at vault 101 so I could closeout of the vigor.

I apologize if it sounds confusing.

A note:

In TTW if the player starts in the Vault and then uses the train, the Vigor Tester machine is skipped, the player only activates the machine and the doctor says everything looks fine and starts walking saying it will walk you to the door. So if you had to assign points in the Vigor-matic or whatever it is called then a mod must have been overwriting the TTW part of it.

So I think we should find which mod is doing it.

Yes he's correct. I did some disabling and found that this perk was the problem [X] Level100PerkPerLevel.esp disabled it and everything is fine. Now my only problem is deciding if I should start over from doc's house or continue on where i'm at. only 3 lvl's difference but a lot of work went into those lvl's. Think ill toss a coin...

Thanks again for your great mod guys!

If it were me I would start

If it were me I would start over from doc's... but that's mostly because losing that many perks would really burn my ass.
