NMM Not Responding Then Shutting Down At Mid-Point

I've got the Main and Optional files loaded up on the nexus mod manager but when it gets to the halfway point of installing and activating the whole program gets hung and shuts down after a bit.

Has anyone else had this happen and is there a solution to this?

If I missed something in the faq that covered this I shall accept my flogging.

I was trying to avoid it but I'm going to make my attempt at a manual installation. May the gods watch over me.

Manually installing is easy, just don't forget to modify the Fallout ini files (like I did the first time).

Pretty it's reccomended NOT to use NMM since it doesnt handle large mods like TTW well.
