Mothership Zeta Quest don't start

The Mothership Zeta Quest ''Not of this world'' don't start. When I first go near the crashed alien ship, the sight goes fuzzy for a short moment and than I'm not able to move. The intro sequence don't start. Same as with Operation Anchorage when arriving there after entering the simulator and almost the same like Tranquility Lane.

Tried to disable mods, tried new installs, tried different load orders. Nothing helps. It's so frustrating. It was fun but now all the glichtes have almost eaten the fun. (not to mention the minute long load times or the fact that I'm everytime at the boomer's base when starting the game no matter what savegame I'm loading)


Please help.

pick ONE and move it last in your load order


What is [X] Anchorage+NV.esp ? This is probably screwing up anchorage?

^ get the hotfix from the alpha download page and make a clean save with it disabled, and then enable the new one.


At any time did you have the timescale mod enabled? At any time did you have Readius or A Familiar Friend installed?

Any editing of the timescale at all will cause issues. It's possible that's where the original problem started.

Put TTWFixes.esm direct after Taleoftwowastelands.esm.

Deleted imp's Timescale adjuster.
Can I alter the timescale via the console command though?

Picked one Realistic Wasteland Lighting.esp.

By the way, where are these parts of TTW:


TTW_XPReduction.esp

TTW_SuperMutantRebalance.esp

TTW_MoreCookingItems.esp

But I played Fallout 3 with a modified timescale (via console) with none of the issues with TTW and Tranquility Lane, Anchorage or Mothership Zeta and the Intro cutscenes that refuse to start.

Those 4 plugins are now part

Those 4 plugins are now part of TTWOptions, of which you should get the hotfix for on the download page and make a clean save with it disabled first.


Also that rewards plugin is for a massively old version of TTW and may be causing your issues.

Almost always strange issues like this are due to a timescale mod, it's posted in the FAQ to not use them.


If you use PN, set it to 30 (default).

I tried a clean install of FNV in a fresh folder, installed TTW, saved without TTWOptions, activated TTWOptions (about), installed latest graphics driver, loaded game (always about 3 minutes load time) went to ReconCraftTheta : same glitch, standing there in front of the crashed alien ship and can't move.



Like TTW very much, you have done great work so far, but I now give up. The Mojave was allright but the capital wasteland has too many issues for me.
