[Solved*] Pip-Boy for female character is missing, but visible on male

Post by mablesable » Thu Aug 31, 2017 2:57 pm

I don't know why it is not displaying still, even after I went through the process I did, explained:

For my first round of building the TTW mod files, some errors appeared in the log file as it went through its usual process of putting files into the output folder you set it to.

I assumed that cleaning the master files with xEdit as well as running the texture-related archives through Texture Optimizer botched the files up and created the errors within the TTW log file.

I removed all the ESM and BSA files from both the Fallout 3 install folder, as well as the New Vegas folder. I performed the verify cache thing in Steam for each game individually so that there would be un-tampered files when I attempted to build the TTW install again.

After the files were re-added by Steam I ran the installer again. Each instance I ran the installer it was the same version, 2.9.4 just to let you all know.

No errors generated during the second install what-so-ever, and I built the FOMOD. I added the package installer to FOMM 0.14.11.13 which has the executable overwritten by the one that is posted on this site that makes it LAA I believe.

No errors installing both the TTW Main and TTW Options FOMODs. It seemed to go smoothly. I have JIP LN NVSE Plugin installed currently as well, though I'm not sure how relevant that is to this problem I'm having.

I installed the Hotfixes for TTW on the Alpha Download page. I installed TTWFixes by RoyBatty after that.

My current load order is posted here: https://pastebin.com/VhnJ0GrN

I own Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition and Fallout 3 Game Of The Year Edition

I have uploaded both install logs but I still seem to get this issue consistently. I tried to Google for solutions as well. But I didn't really find much of anything on it, unfortunately.

I would appreciate some help, even if anyone could let me know if there's a way for me to restore the pip-boy mesh?

Please let me know if I need to provide any additional info.

Performance Of The Gods.esp

Post by RoyBatty » Thu Aug 31, 2017 6:54 pm

Performance Of The Gods.esp and any other esp that disables or deletes things to "improve performance" is going to cause issues, but not the pipboy.

If you "cleaned" the esm's afterwards, that will also cause issues.

I've not had an issue with a missing pipboy on female characters, I am not able to offer any advice sorry.

Thank you for the comment I managed to figure out the issue on my own, but I have also switched to the converted Clean-Deluxe TTW mod on here after seeing what you posted about POTG. Weirdly enough when I disabled TTWFixes.ESM the pip-boy appeared again. It seems I botched something with the install...
