Craterside Supply

Post by Royhr » Wed Sep 07, 2016 3:02 pm

Ok I've just recently started a new play thru and have encountered this problem. I remember in the past there was an issue with Craterside Supply and the door being red. Thought there was a fix or something for that but can't remember or find what the fix was. Anyway I go to Craterside Supply and enter even though the door is red. I get in ok but then Moira rushes up to me telling me I should leave. I then click on her and we engage in the normal dialog like all is ok. But when I leave return it's the same thing. She tells me I should leave but I can again engage in the normal dialog with her. So what do I need to do to stop this? Or do I just live with it? Not a big deal since I can talk to her ok.

Yeah, I run into that

Yeah, I run into that sometimes myself. I'm not sure, but it SEEMS like if I'm away for more than a certain amount of time, the next time I go to Craterside, it's red. I noticed it once after sleeping at Minefield before returning, and again after sleeping at Tenpenny Tower (after doing the Robco quest) before returning.

The door being red doesn't

The door being red doesn't concern me. If I remember correctly this is actually common and a known bug with the game. So I can live with that. What concerns me is how Moira is initially hostile towards me when I go into the store. In the past when I played she never acted like that.

I've tried to solve the mystery of Moira's bugged out packages/AI, and so has just about every other TTW member. Your guess is as good as mine. I even remade everything for her, still did it.

Oh ok.... Didn't know there was an issue with Moira since I never had the issue in the past. I only encountered the red door problem. Anyway no biggie since it's nothing fatal and I can easily work around it. Thanks for the info.

I was in Rivet City, so I paid attention to everyone... some of the characters are sleeping when they shouldn't, some are manning their shops, and many others are not. I talked to one of those that should be at his shop and he told me the shop is closed and to come back in the morning... at 2:20 pm. It seems clear to me that whatever handles the packages isn't getting the proper time. Doing GetCurrentTime returns the proper time, so that's not it.
