CTD when entering Chryslus Building Lower Office

As this my first post I must first congratulate the TTW team on a job very well done.


I have the "Trail of Crumbs" TTW version installed and when trying to complete the Chryslus Building quest I just get a CTD as as I try to access the lower office area of the Chryslus building. 


Some of the things I tried were :-




  • I stopped all followers/companions 


  • Disabled all mods just leaving the core TTW files


In the end to finish the quest I had to use the console to unlock the very hard lock to the basement area (which is where I was trying to get.)

This has been the only CTD issue I have had since playing with V2.7 & now V2.8 so hardly earth shattering 


But if someone could check to see if there is an issue with that cell or it is just my install which is slightly borked

I haven't been there yet this playthrough, I'll check it but nothing should have changed.

I had it happen to me also, so did Gallahorn. It was on my first visit there, and then later it stopped and worked properly. The only difference for me was that it was the 2nd floor causing it and not the top floor. The basement also worked fine.


Upon tinkering I went back and it worked fine for no explainable reason... I think sometimes the game just doesn't load the space properly or perhaps there is an issue with something else.
