I've read through the install guide on the site multiple times, briefly checked the forums (I'll be honest, I didn't dig too deep), and even watched 2 20+ minute videos on installing this thing. I still can't figure out where to put my .fomods.

I have the STEAM versions of both games, and downloaded FOMM for this installation. I'll give you a quick brief of what I do.

-I downloaded the TTW installer

-put all the files in a separate folder on my desktop

-I put the location of FO3 and FONV in (which is c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\fallout 3 goty (or new vegas)

-Then I make a new folder for the .fomods in my documents\games

-i hit install, the game installs fine according to everything and creates the fomods.

Now this is where I get stuck. According to the Guide here, "Make sure your mod manager is closed. Navigate to the TTW install directory and move the FOMODs to your FOMM FNV mods folder (C:\Games\FalloutNV\mods by default)."

I don't seem to have that default folder. In fact i've searched multiple folders for NV and don't have a mods folder. Should I just create that exact path in the parenthesis? In the videos I watched both guys had that and a nexus folder, but I saw that nexus was actually a non-rec for this.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

edit: also, i've tried placing the .fomods in the fallout new vegas data folder (...steam/steamapps/common/new vegas/data) where the other mods are but to no avail. When I open FOMM and go to package manager I try to just "add .fomod" and it'll add it in, but then activating it just freezes after 10 minutes.
