I would submit your problem with Mod Organizer at the link above to see about getting the 7zip bug fixed. I am not experiencing this problem and I use 7 zip.
...has been disconnected or does not exist at the server (I have read the FAQ, still have a question)

I will look into submitting
I will look into submitting it. However, I have to wonder, why did it work before I reinstalled everything? It was working fine, but there were other problems so I reinstalled. Now it no longer works. I can't come up with any logical reason why it would have changed.

I will see about submitting
I will see about submitting the problem to Mod Organizer, but I'm not sure I understand it well enough to explain the issue there. In the mean time, will FOMM work for me, or will it have the same issue?

Downloaded it, and I'm trying it now. When I used the regular FOMM, it installed and said it was installed correctly, but none of the files showed up in the data folder, and nothing was added to the load order, which explains why the Optionals part didn't work.
I'll get back to you with what happens from here.

OK, well it doesn't seem to
OK, well it doesn't seem to be working any better. However, I figured out that when I had it working it was on my desktop computer (much better than my laptop), but I was remote controlling it from my laptop, which is why I thought I remembered it working on the laptop. My laptop is probably just too slow to make it work right. I guess Fallout will just be a game I can only play on my desktop computer.

Yeah, you probably need a designated gaming laptop to have a chance.
