Dead Mirelurk in MTB

Post by askedal » Wed May 04, 2016 11:40 am

Hi,

I have the MTB Mobile Truck Base running and I once parked at the Dukovs place. I then got into a fight with a Mirelurk Hunter that followed me into my MTB (where I fleed into). I then was able to kill the Mirelurk, but now I have this big fat cadaver in my truck. I thought that it will disappear over time, but it is still there and several days have passed already. Does anybody know how I can remove the Mirelurk cadaver from my truck ? Maybe with some sort of console command ?

Many, many thanks

Enter console (~), and click on the mirelurk.  Type disable, hit enter, type markfordelete, hit enter, and leave the console.  That should take care of your fishy situation

Hello,

many thanks for the help. This is how it get solved:

First I tried the console commands, but with no luck, the Mirelurk was still there, even after leaving and reentering the MTB.

Then I stayed outside for three days and then reentered the MTB and guess what happened: a living Mirelurk King was waiting for me :-O . So I stepped out of the MTB, he followed and then I killed him outside: Problem solved.

I owe you both a Mirelurk cake.

Many thanks

Mine was a tongue-in-cheek

Mine was a tongue-in-cheek response. If ever you try to disable something and what you expect to be disabled is not, immediately type 'enable' into the console and hit enter. What happened is there was light effects / dust / other such thing between you and the mirelurk. Those things are selectable when in console mode.
