FOMM can suck an ungodly amount of dick - it decided that my mods no longer existed and I had to spend the next seven hours re-uploading them.
I like having more than just one option for patching.

Fomm doesn't patch anything. We have a custom built installer that takes your files and uses them to make TTW. As for installing it cannot possibly get any simpler than using MO, unless you pay me to come to your house and install it for you.
My project Dash is on Kickstarter!
I'm the type who likes having a backup even when not required. It didn't hurt to ask.
I'm still cleaning up FOMM's mess.
If you haven't used MO, once you get good at it you'll see it serves both roles.

MO is the best although it has a few quirks but nothing is perfect. Even with the quirks, I like it over FOMM.
And the Fo4 version is already in beta.
that said, paying TJ to come over and install things might be worth it. you'd have to put up with his full technically trained hourly rate plus travel expenses and a per diem, but totally worth it.
I use Wrye Flash almost exclusively. But there are a few mods that, unfortunately, Wrye Flash cannot handle.
TTW is one of those mods.
Technically, you CAN use Wrye Flash if you can handle some manual tinkering. But myself, I kept having the cutscene hang during character creation, so I just broke down and reinstalled via FOMM - which, I agree, sucks the fat one.
MO is so much better, you can several games in progress, backup all your games, and more.
