Can't find the Fallout 3 .esm or the F3 DLC .esm s

Post by Endercamper » Tue Oct 13, 2015 9:59 pm

Very simple, really. I couldn't get it to work with FOMM, so i manually installed it. Pasted the TTW .esm and some of the optional .esm into the Data folder, and they show up in my load order just fine. HOWEVER, the Fallout3.esm and all the DLCs for Fallout 3 don't appear, and i don't know how to get them to appear. IF you need any more information about my game etc, ask. Please help, i've been trying to install this mod for a good two days now.

Yeah but see, that's the thing. Nothing there says i should copy the esms at all. I can only assume they were supposed to be in the Main Files folder, but they're not. It could be because when using the installer i opted to make the FOMODs. What should i do? Use the installer again?

Your Install folder (the one

Your Install folder (the one you pick for the installer to place the TTW files into) should indeed contain a folder called Main Files and inside of it should be the files for the Manual Install, should have these files and folders:

If those files are not there (just like you said) then yes you should run the installer again.

Choosing to make the fomod files shouldn't prevent the installer from creating these files and folders at all, so I have no idea what happened for those files not being there, maybe the antivirus or firewall silently prevented the installer from doing it's thing but that is just a wild guess...
