I was, infact completely 100% correct when I said I had been a bit of an idiot. (Not a bit, a lot)

After about a minute of making this post, I logged into steam, it appears to work fine now.

You'll get that error if the FalloutNV.exe has been altered (like trying to LAA patch it) or it doesn't belong to your steam account (can't decrypt).

Thanks Roy :), I got another error, this time it doesn't have an Error code.

When I launch NVSE, I get to the start menu, and no buttons (new game, continue, etc.) appears.

I really hate to be a bother, but what's wrong?

That is usually a symptom of a bad mod. I've experienced this when trying to use the TTW Quo Vagis conversion.

I've decided I'm giving up on the mod, after searching the FAQ for some answers, I found a potential fix, I did it and I found out it was Fallout 3 itself causing the no menu problem.

I reinstalled the BSA files for Fallout 3 17 times (Anchorage and Broken Steel screwed up a bit too, so I redid them) no exaggeration, but I still am having the same problem.

Although it looked nice and I was eager to participate in the Alpha, it ended up having wayyy to many problems in the installation alone.

I may participate in the Beta if this is corrected.

For the no menu issue: Revalidate your FNV steam files ( failing that, also the F3 steam files, though the installer should've stopped right off if there was a problem with them. ) Run the installer again to regenerate all clean TTW files and start out with just TTW main files.

Another note: *If* you have NVAC installed what you're seeing is supposed to be a crash. Since your load order is altered in a manner that we can't see everything in your data folder and what's checked and what's not... All I can do is say it could either be a bad plugin ( revalidate and re run the installer ) a missing or out of order master ( find it and put it where it should be ) or xml problems with the menus themselves ( install your menu modifying plugins in the proper order and use uHUD or UIO )
