TTW keeps crashing with new NMM update?

Post by LightningDolphin » Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:51 pm

So I downloaded the new NMM update. NMM needed to uninstall and reinstall all my mods for the new update to work. Now my fallout new vegas keeps crashing at the main menu. It shows NMCs ranger for a second or two then it crashes. I checked FNV edit to see if there was a problem with my load order it said i was all good but that is obviously not the case. I posted my load order maybe you guys can help with this problem.

Open your load order up with FNVedit, and it'll error if you're missing a master or if something is out of order.

Does the crash occur when it's about to show the LOAD SAVE SETTINGS EXIT main menu? if so, you're missing an xml file and need to reinstall your hud mods and use UIO or UHUD. If it crashes when trying to start at all, you're missing a master for a plugin

TTW ALPHA DOWNLOAD
MOD MANAGERS:

- RECOMMENDED: Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) 0.14.11.9 can handle the install perfectly, even on lower-end systems. If you have issues and are sure you are on FOMM 0.14.11.9 you can swap out the exe with this LAA patch.

Works, with caveats: Mod Organizer works fine with TTW, though you'll have some learning to do to get the hang of it if you don't already use it. Use UIO for your HUD mods.

- NOT recommended: Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) does not handle large mods well, and tends to generate errors and crashes when installing TTW, even on very high-end computers.
Have you tried FOMM 0.14.11.9 or Mod Org?

I used FNV edit it says I'm fine and I don't have any hud mods. It crashes right before it shows the main menu I.e. continue, load, etc.

I checked my data folder and I have all the files in there. But I haven't tried activating it with FOMM. So I should do that.

Yes, only the recommended version of FOMM or MO.

Do you have NVAC loaded? If so, have you checked the NVAC log file?

PN has hud mod elements in it, i didn't look at the rest of your LO, but i figured i'd tell you that not all hud mods are hud mods.

Do I have to activate TTW even though I have all the plugins in my load order and I have all the files in my data folder?
