Random Crashes (All info included)

Hi. (And thanks for a great "mod", TTW is awesome)


But I do have some problem with it. The game keeps crashing on me. When I think about it it seems it only crashes when I'm exploring the wastes. And it's a hard crash straight to desktop, and the screen goes black. I never get a warning that it's going to crash, it just comes suddenly. Today I could play for an hour before the game crashed. But other times it only takes minutes after loading a save. A couple of days ago I crashed after reaching the Super Duper Mart in DC. I tried again, loading my save exiting megaton and walking to Super Duper Mart and it crashed at the same spot. I might add that I have only been in DC so far. Haven't played the New Vegas part yet.


 


About mods (see pic below)


I have only used Nexus mod manager before so I'm not really that familiar with FOMM yet. But I did use FOMM to install Project Beauty and Fellout. The other mods are installed using Nexus.

I installed fresh copies of both games before installing TTW using FOMM (v0.10). I followed the install notes found here on the site. And I downloaded TTW from this site also. I have FO3 GOTY and FO3 New Vegas Ultimate edition, both steam downloads.

Here is my load order:


WMVM = Weapon Mod Vending Machine


SenterPats Weapon Pack = TTW Immersive Armors and Weapons SIG Version 1E


Project Beauty is unchecked. I tried to find the culprit for the crashes but the game keeps crashing eiter way. Also, I have tried using BOSS to sort the load order, but I'm still crashing obviously.


 


If someone could please help me, I'm dying to actually play these games once more before Fallout 4 comes out. I'm happy to give you all the info you need to resolve this issue. Please help me!

Do not see twwfixes 2.2.2 installed in your load order. Recommended that you try installing that and put it right after TaleofTwoWasteland.esm.

Thank you for your reply. I had no idea that you needed "TTW Fixes". I will install it and give it a go. Have I missed something else perhaps that needs to be installed?

Well not that you absolutely need ttwfixes but it is strongly recommended especially since you are having issues. As far anything else? Well nothing that's necessary but maybe somebody else will have a recommendation. Everybody's tastes are different as far as setting up the game.

Nvac (new vegas anticrash) and nvsr (new vegas stutter remover) are so highly recommended that you should consider using that. I would also recommend the new vegas 4gb launcher available on fallout new vegas nexus if you continue crash after the above two. There is also enboost available there, but its probably not as needed due to your small load order
