I just started playing TTW and when I had Jericho from Megaton his 1k payment caps he then just follows me and fights for me, I have access to his companion wheel but I am unable to select any of the options and when I talk to him he just speaks his usual greeting and responses. Any way around this to be able to give him stuff and orders?
Companions only follow, nothing else.

Take a closer look at your
Take a closer look at your mods, yeah. For example the perk every level isn't needed, Project Nevada has that built in as an option. And your stuff's not ordered right. Nothing should load before the Fallout master for starters

I've found that Fallout 3
I've found that Fallout 3 companions' AI just doesn't necessarily know all the commands on the Vegas style companion wheel - Dogmeat only responds to "Back Up" and "Talk To" in my game, the other settings (like the passive/aggressive toggle, follow distance, etc) don't do anything.
