Installer problem

Post by maczed » Sat Sep 20, 2014 10:42 pm

Just got TTW 2.7 today and i can't even get past the installer, after it patches all the files from my fallout 3 data folder (Anchorage.esm, ThePitt.esm, Zeta.esm etc) it tries to patch Fallout3.esm but then it fails and i get: "Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown." I've tried reinstalling .NET and restarting and i ran as administrator and I followed the installation instructions precisely but i just can't get passed the out of memory exception error.

Could you please include the information listed in this thread?

Also: how much RAM does your system have in total, and how much free memory is available before running the installer?

Specifically, please include your install log.

  • System Specs (including Operating System, Processor, and Memory, nobody cares about your graphics card)

  • Mod Manager and Version

  • TTW Install Log (My Documents\my games\TaleOfTwoWastelands\Install Log.txt)

  • Current Load Order (Most mod managers have a quick and easy way to export this)

  • Symptoms (What is it doing vs. What you expect it to be doing)

  • What you have already tried?

It would also be helpful if you could answer my questions from the last post.

Maczed do let us know about your specs. Also If you don't mind upload a screen shot of the processes tab of your task manager (Ctrl+shift+esc)

EDIT: Not to be rude, but what you think the issue is or isn't is of no importance. The Installer dev asked for that information, you asked the installer dev for help. It's for your benefit. Nonetheless, thanks for answering.
