Using Fallout 3 Mod (Fellout: Remove Green Tint)

Post by siuking » Fri Jul 24, 2015 11:46 pm

Hi. I am starting to get tired of the Green tint in Capital Wasteland, esp in DC, so I want to use this mod Fellout for fallout 3.

However I have only used FNV mods so far and have no idea how to get Fallout 3 Mods to work with TTW.

Can anyone tell me how to do it exactly?

PS: I read the instructions in FAQ, but those are quite long ago. Are they still reliable?

siuking, Fallout 3 mods need

siuking, Fallout 3 mods need to be converted for use in TTW. There already is a version of Fellout for TTW that has been converted. Also, a number of different lighting and weather mods built for TTW would also remove the green tint in the CW's and the yellow/orange tint of NV. I would suggest checking into Realistic Wasteland Lighting Enhanced, it's a great lighting/weather mod that was purpose built for TTW. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59591/?

Or, if you want Fellout, you could use the version already released on this sight https://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/fellout-ttw

I am using ENB 249 right now.

I am using ENB 249 right now. The only reason I choose Fellout over RWL is because I don't want weather effect like thunderstorm etc yet. (Given my game has fps drop in some area, the fps drop is happening after playing for some time, and after completing lots of quests, i guess the game engine isn't handling my mods very well...)

Thanks btw, Fellout works properly

Use the older version of RWL

Use the older version of RWL then that's here. No weather in that.
