Having issues with TTW installer

Post by viggomopsen » Mon Jun 23, 2014 4:05 pm

I run the installer as admin and choose where my fallout 3 and new vegas is and tell where i want it downloaded, but after it checks the files and it even says all files found it says "A part of the path 'C:\TOTW\TempExtract' wasnt found"

I got no idea why it does this, anyone have any idea why?

I use windows 8, my proccesor is i7-4702MQ. My nexus mod manager is version 0.50.3, but my install log is in danish, but i can try to translate

[24-06-2014 14:32:25]    Checking for required files...

[24-06-2014 14:32:25]    All files found. Proceeding with installation.

[24-06-2014 14:32:25]    Building Fallout3 - Meshes

[24-06-2014 14:33:04]    A part of the path 'C:\TOTW\TempExtract' was not found

and after that it just stops with the install.

Edit:

Now after Building Fallout3 - Meshes i get a message saying that MSVCR110.dll is missing on my computer

Any idea whats causing the problem?

That means that you didn't install all of the requirements that the Alpha Download page lists, go through that list in that page and check which one(s) you are missing.

Finished installing it but when i use NMM and install the main files, it finishes the install, but there is no popup like it finished, and no checkmark at the side like it succesfully installed. I tried installing again many times but i just get the same problem. I then tried to install the optional files and loaded everything up in the correct load order and launched the game. Then, when i was making a new charector, the fallout 3 intro started, but after it had ended i started in doc mitchells house and just made my charector there, and nothing seems to have changed instead of the intro.

I noticed that when launching the installer in user mode, it gives non-helpful errors.

This is seeming less and less like a patch solution and more like a warez distro fix.
