Not a question, an answer. 


If you are trying to start a new game but keep getting sent to doc mitchells, it is most likely due to one of your mods at one time changing a file that TTW needs for it's start point. if you reallly don't feel like uninstalling and reinstalling all of your mods......or just uninstalling them to begin with, what you can do instead is just uninstall and reinstall TTW itself. That should allow you to start in the vault.

The ini settings are only set if you install with a mod manager, and sometimes not even then. Also, if you have a mod that changes the way FNV starts you're probably still gonna have issues.

Ya I noticed that getting changed back when I reinstalled. A backup ini, or instructions on what to change would be even easier. At the same time tho, I could have sworn that there was supposed to be a menu that popped up asking where you wanted to start at, I didn't see anything like that after reinstalling. I'm sure one day I may just wipe everything and start from scratch to make a completely clean and early quickstart save in the vault. I was really just trying to get it setup for an evil character, which unless you consider the sunglare as you leave the vault as a psychotic break, doesn't quite work as intended if you play nice while you're in the vault. It didn't make sense why my morally depraved sociopath would have left all those people alive. I also tried loading my vault entrance save, zapping the vault door and then going back and murdering everyone......that really really really messed everything up. And Amata still loved me as I ate bits of dear old Alphonse right in front of her.

Use the site search bar and try searching for something like "Start in NV" and I bet the mod will appear in one of the first results if not the first. smiley
