Game crashes 100 metres from =Vault 101.

After leaving Vault 101 and levelling up and being asked about hardcore mode, after I walk about 100 metres from the exit it crashes.

Is that really the order of it? Seems to be in alphabetic order and not the real loading order for some reason .

By the way if I use commands to fast travel away it works as long as I don't actually walk away so I'll just do that.

It sounds like a corrupt installation. I'd recommend running the TTW installer again or picking up NVAC to try avoiding that crash. What are your system specs too?

Also try to check files in Steam for New Vegas. and Fallout 3 files before you run TTW installer.
