My new games starts me in FO:NV

Post by Laotzume » Sat Jan 25, 2014 10:28 pm

Hello! I am really excited to try this mod out. I installed it per the directions. I couldn't get it to install via NMM so I did the manual install.

I am starting in the Mohave. I start like you do in FO:NV with the doc asking you questions. The intro screen says Tale of Two Wastelands when I start a new game and everything. It shows both FO3 and FO:NV intro movies.

Am I supposed to start in the Mohave? I checked my load order on NMM and it is in the order the install guide says.

Thank you!

Dude, use the searchbar. A lot of people encountered this problem (including me). I would tell you how I fixed it but I don't remember. Look for one of the old topics.

You need to to the .ini tweaks the info you need in the manual install instructions on the alpha download page.

I did :) All I came up with were people asking if they get to choose between the two. Sorry to piss you off so badly.

I don't think you really

I don't think you really pissed off Nilloc it's just that we get asked this and other questions so often it can be annoying. The information is out there and is not that hard to find with a little effort. wink

That being said also make sure you bypass the vanilla launcher when starting the game, steam will kill .ini tweaks if given the chance. I suggest using NVSE to launch the game.

I'm not pissed off, but you are literally the third person to ask this question in the last week.
