Three Dog Won't Advance Main Quest

-64-bit Windows 7, 2nd Generation Intel Core i7 & i5 processors, 8GB RAM, 3GB VRAM


-Mod Organizer, Version 1.0.12 (current as of writing this)


-Install Log: http://pastebin.com/7S6bjnM2 (site won't let me upload Install Log.txt)


-Load Order: http://pastebin.com/V39KWNkg (again, site won't let me upload .txt files for some reason)


-Three Dog does not have the proper dialog to advance the quest "Following In His Footsteps", even though the quest marker and text points to him. His only dialog is the generic "Nevermind".


-I tried using the console command "setstage" to bypass this quest objective, but once I retrieve the satalite dish from atop the Washington Monument, there is no dialog to give it to him, and trying to use the console to bypass this stage causes further blocking errors on the next quest.


-Steam GOTY Download


 


EDIT: I have no idea how the install log successfully uploaded, it gave me error messages when I tried, so either use the file or the Pastebin...    n.nU


EDIT2: Use the .txt file, it seems I can't pull up the link to Pastebin for the Load Order externally... it just says "this paste has been removed!", even though I can access it through "My pastebins". Probably had to do with the error message pastebin gave me when I tried to post it saying their site was overloaded at the moment. :3

Never had that problem so I really don't know how to fix it, but your load order has the courier's stash packs jumbled all over the load order, fixing the load order won't hurt cheeky also you have something called "EnergyShield.esm" before the "TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm" one, I would put that after the TTW.esm.

IIRC you can't get the dish from the Washington Monument, you can only install it there (after you get it from the museum), and after it is installed on the Monument you should talk to Three Dog.

-Whenever I enter dialog with Three Dog, and many other NPCs it skips over the introductory dialog. It wasn't really much of a problem until I got to Three Dog, where he even doesn't have the options to continue the main quest. The only option I have with him is "Nevermind" like the person above, and I can't continue on with the quest.


-Tried reloading a previous save, didn't work.


-Both games are Steam GOTY


EDIT: It's a conflicting mod. Have to figure out which one now. 


EDIT the Second: It was the Jocelyn companion mod.

Thanks for troubleshooting the problem and finding the cause laugh I noticed that the OP also has that Jocelyn companion mod so I guess that mod is not compatible with TTW sad.

Wow that sucks, she's by far my favorite companion mod... I'm gonna spend some time seeing if I can fix it by editing the file (no promises). I'll post my fix if I manage to get it working. :3


EDIT: What if I made the Jocelyin .esp into an .esm and place it before TTW? I wonder if that would work... Hmmm...


EDIT2: No that didn't work, this will require some actual effort as said mod is conflicting with a bunch of dialogs... I just found out it prevents you from using the intercom by Rivet City to extend the drawbridge. :S
