Tunnel to Union station blocked

The tunnel in Penn ave/The Mall metro that should lead to union station is blocked. I tried disabling most of my mods and it didn't seem to help. any ideas?

I also tried just coc ing to goodsprings but when I went to doc mitchell's it tried to start the main quest but locked up as he said "good you're awake" and it tried to cut scene me sitting up in bed, but it would just get stuck in a weird position. this is probalby not related, but solving this would let me bypass the train completely...

Wouldn't it be easier to just tcl through the rubble and get to the door than breaking all of TTW just to get to goodsprings?

good idea, I'm not that familiar with console commands so i didn't think of that, but unfortunately when i do that it dead ends just past the blockage and there is no exit to union station. But your right that going to goodsprings isn't a good option, a bunch of game-breaking stuff happens if i force my way through the doc mitchel stuff with setstage. I can't sprint or draw my weapon to name a few.

you might have to explore a bit. The local map on the pip boy will show you where the door is.

so maybe I was looking for union station in the wrong place... found another post pointing me to dukov's and found an entrance there.

That would mean you have an older version of TTW.
