Crashes regardless of location or quest

Post by Munkle555 » Wed Jan 15, 2014 6:50 pm

Hi as the topic suggests I am having frequent crashes in both the f3 world and fnv world and it can be talking, going through doors, fast travelling, just from walking and etc.

I have a quad core processor 3.00ghz amd with 8gb of ram. I am running windows 7 64bit home and only have tales of two wastelands running and no other mods. It is the steam version of both games with fallout 3 being game of the year and fallout new Vegas being the ultimate version.

i have tried looking around for fixes but can only find references to crashes at specific game points which is not what I am having. Tales was installed over a fresh install of both games.

Any by help would be fantastic thank you

OK, you've provided a lot of helpful information there and we want to help but here are some more things we're going to want from you.

Namely, how did you install TTW - using which mod manager or was it manually?

Thank you very much for getting back to me

The load order is Falloutnv, deadmoney, honesthearts, oldworldblues, lonesomeroad, gunrunnersarsenal, caravanpack, classpack, mercenarypack, tribalpack, fallout3, anchorage, thepitt, brokensteel, pointlookcout, zeta, taleoftwowastelands, perkeverylevel(just noticed I had this enabled) and finally ttw2oachasefixcorrected

The log is "

Determining system architecture

64-bit Architecture found

Looking for Fallout 3

Could Not Automatically Determine Fallout 3 Location

User changed Fallout 3 path to: F:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty\

Looking for Fallout New Vegas

Fallout New Vegas was found at F:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\

Looking for Tale of Two Wastelands

Tale of Two Wastelands was found at F:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\TOTW\

Beginning installation

Building Tale of Two Wastelands primary BSAs was skipped

Copying over Fallout3 Music and Videos was skipped

Patching DLC BSAs was skipped

Patching Fallout3 and DLC .ESMs was skipped

Updating Tale of Two Wastelands files

Moving Fallout_default.ini to TTW install folder

Updating .ini files

And manually I believe I followed the guide which involved running the installer pointing it at my install locations letting it run then ordering the esm files correctly.

Why the hell was all of that

Why the hell was all of that skipped? What version are you using? Is it the incomplete alpha from 4chan (we don't care if it is, seriously)?

It might of been me I re-ran the patcher to see if there was any automatic patch system. No I got it from this site version 2.0a

Yeah, like TJ said try 2.4, you won't even need the Operation Anchorage Chase fix anymore.

Hey I thought I would give you a update I updated to 2.4 and it seems a lot more stable now I don't think I have had a crash since and definitely not 1 every 10-30 minutes like it was before. Thanks for all your help
