No GUI on main menu!

Post by Johnny33 » Sat May 03, 2014 10:36 pm

I had to install the mod via FOMM and everything worked fine, however when launching the game there's no GUI.

I have no other mods installed, only the ones that relate to TTW.

There is a thread about this issue http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/upon-launching-new-vegas-i-have-no-menu-game-freezes

Simply put, the problem is in the FOMOD install, try a manual install (the directions are on the download page)

Or the files weren't built properly and requires finding the bad plugin / bsa file and deleting then rerunning the installer.

I recommend the instructions found here..

http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/ttw-24-no-menu-manual-fix-tutorial

It is broken down into sections, starting with troubleshooting the problem plug-in or master and determining if it is the plug-in or master itself or if it is the BSA associated with it.

Then moves on to how to fix the issue, starting with the re-running installer method and as a final resort instructions for a manual fix if the problem was not resolved by the installer.

Hope this helps.
