Problem with TTW 2.4 installer (SOLVED)

Post by belias » Tue Jan 07, 2014 12:23 pm

Hi

First i want to say sorry for my bad English

here is the problem :

when i launch TTW2.4a installer (as administrator) its successfully create Fallout3 and DLC .bsa but when it execute "xdelta_x32" i have

 Patching Fallout3.esm...

Your version of Fallout3.esm cannot be patched.

i have Windows 7  64 bit ,8 GA of RAM, and processor is G860 3GHz.

i use a steam version of FNV with all dlc and patch 1.4 and i try with Fallout3 GOTY disc and Fallout3 GOTY steam version both with patch1.7 (all clear install)

i follow all the instruction of this topic http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/alpha-download#Install

i read somewhere in this forum that changing the files directories can fix it but i try with changing Fallout3 and TTW install directories but it doesn't work.

hope you can help me

Thanks

Hi, where do you come from? :)

I've read that TTW 2.4a doesn't like to be installed in FNV directory.

Try to install both games into a new folder that is not "Programs Files" or "Programs". You can set a new install directory with Steam. (ex: C:/Games)

Once it's done, use the launcher of both games to set "Fallout.ini" and "FalloutPrefs.ini".

Run the patcher and set a new install directory for it. (ex: C:/User/Your Profile/Desktop/TTW 2.4a)

Did you installed an English version of both games?     Fallout 3 must be in it's English version, this is very important and there is no way to get rid of this.   You can change the language whenever you want it, with steam.

Oh yeah, recherche dans la section Support du forum.

Tu y trouveras un de mes post nommé: "Other Language - TTW 2.4a ONLY"

Tchuss.
