Chevy Chase Loading Stuck

For reasons that escape my understanding, the game is simply stuck on the loading screen whenever I try to enter Chevy Chase through Tenleytown/Friendship station. The spinning wheel appears, but the text doesn't show up. The background does change at the usual rate.


I had this problem earlier when trying to enter the Queen Ant's Hatchery, but I just setstaged it until it started working. However, since this is a part of the main quest, I am highly unwilling to try to setstage it.


Can anyone suggest a solution?


Systems specs are:


Motherboard - Gigabyte Z87-HD3

-More Perks has been merged and can be found on the NVEC page on Nexus. There is a combined FNV and FO3 More Perks on this site. Search bar is your friend.


-Your EVE esm is disabled. Is this intentional? (my craptop cant run it so I dont know how it gets used with other mods)


-I see the TTW WMX Unified patch. Is this the one for WMX Unified or is it for the updated WMX and simply kept the name?


You have spoilered incorrectly and are using a non automatic font color. This inhibits people who may want to help you. Next time just attach your LO as a .txt file or a pastebin link.


As for your issue, likely culprits are one of the various lighting edit/AWOP plugins or an incorrectly merged or converted plugin.

1. Really? Huh. I'll take a look around for the FO3/NV merged version, then. Never enough perks!


2. EVE.esm is a Fallout 3 plugin and is supposed to be disabled, yes. All I needed were the resources from it, but I haven't gotten around to deleting the .esm from my data folder yet.


3. I have no idea what you're referring to there.\


4. Thanks to TJ for fixing my spoilering! And I've changed the text colour to be actually readable. Will keep the .txt advice in mind in the future.


5. So, to get back to the topic, should I have a crack at disabling my lighting and AWOP plugins? Would that help at all?

Generally the best thing to do is disable everything and try it. If it works start enabling 5 or so at a time until it breaks again. Then disable the last 5 or so one at a time until it works and you should have narrowed it down to one plugin.

UPDATE -


Even with my whole LO nuked (only the basic TTW .esms active in the LO), it's still not loading.


This... is a problem. I no longer have any idea how to fix it.

Did you save after loading without mods and then reloading? Or just proceed with your previous save but with missing plugins?


Also, go into your NV data folder and tell us what you find.
