Failure to start Operation Anchorage Simulation

Post by Piers Arkan » Sat Dec 28, 2013 11:09 pm

Well hello folks, finally got TTW to run by Manual Installation, and it works alright, but I went to try and play Operation Anchorage. Now everything went relatively smoothly till I had to go to the VR Pod. I got the neural interface suit on, and I sit in it. I fade out, I see the loading screen, I hear the Anchorage wind, and the game Crashes.

I asked in the chat what the issue might be, and a guy tells me that I should do the automatic installation. After tinkering with the CFF explorer, I got FOMM to install it. Good for me, but after testing it again, it does not work.

I am running Windows 8.1 out of an AMD A-8 4500m with 4GB of Ram, I did this via manual and Fallout Mod Manager version 0.13.21

I decided to console coc my way into later cells to see if there was anything else horribly bugged, and it only appears to be that first area, the Cliffs. Everything else for me was fine, so this may at least partially narrow it down to whatever starts at that opening.

I don't have any 10mm weapons or ammo on me. I do not have any weapons on me at all, they have all been dropped.

Could anyone point me to any set of console commands that can somewhat seamlessly let me enjoy operation anchorage from the point where you are briefed by Chase for Paving the Way?

Also, Google could point you in the right direction - TJ
