TTW speach checks bug

When using TTW speach check, charon uses a lever action shotgun and comments on everything i do, such as when i am going to pick a lock "dont even think about breaking in there." i've disabled all my plugins and this one seems to be the problem.

The lever action shotgun is intended behavior, there are indications in the game code that he was supposed to use a lever action shotgun. The other bit sounds like a legit bug though, thanks for the report.

There isn't a lever action shotgun from Fallout 3.  It was actually a bug fix I left in accidentally that should be making its way into TTW proper.


 


As for him commenting, the speech check mod wouldn't change anything like that.

hmm... ill do some more testing. i turned it off and he seemed to stop talking about stuff, but ill check some more.

You can check all you want, the speech check mod doesn't make companions bark more often or use the vanilla Fallout 3 dialog more than they normally do.

ok yeah, you were correct. the lever action is in the speach checks which is normal, but the NPC barks are not connected. they are in normal TTW i think.
