i have a fresh install of new vegas and TTW with no third party mods installed except a ui mod called MTUI.

i am unable to shoot any gun starting with the one amata gives you at the start, forcing me to go through the vault escape with a baseball bat. i was able to sucessfully shoot the bb gun with no problems, yet any pistols i find i cannot.

using the console i spawned in a gun and 1 bullet. i could get the gun to reload, but not shoot. the only time i could get it to shoot was to reload the gun, and while it was reloading i had to continuously click and then it would fire.

as soon as the reload animation is done however, the gun would look like it would unequip, but i could still draw and holster normally.

any ideas?

Alright, I've got nothing. Anyone else?

Was FO3 a clean unmodded install when you ran the TTW installer?

Try remapping the mouse 1 button/attack 1 button to a different key.

Then we can disentangle hardware/input issues from the installer and whatever's going on with your game.

my fo3 was completely unmodded and untouched. I literally installed from steam and then installed TTW right afterwards.

I verified my new vegas installation, it found 2 files and downloaded them, exactly nothing has changed.

i changed my attack button and it did nothing. both the mouse and the new bound key unholster the weapon, but it does not fire.

i used the console to test some weapons and it seems like only one handed guns do not work. anything with two hands such as shotguns or rifles work just fine.

Yeah, they included copies of all (or most of) the weapon animations in GRA. Why? I have no idea, but they did it.
