Well, after four months of being lazy I finally reinstalled FO3, FONV, and TTW. I am happy to say that the patch provided by Thatchor works and I am no longer having texture issues with no other mods installed. I am very grateful to everyone that helped me through this issue.

Its a mesh issue. the .nif is trying to grab the wrong texture file. 


 


I have provided a fixed mesh and texture file path. drag and drop like a mod.


 


 


If you have nifscope, you can do this yourself, easy. Load the file into it, then follow these instructions.


 


1. click on the pert of the weapon thats bugged(in this case, the main 


 


body)


 


2. a "NiTriStrips" will be hilighted on the left. click on the arrow next to it for the drop down menu.


 


3. use the dropdown arrow on "BSShaderPPLightingProperty"


 


4.click on ''BSShaderTextureset"


 


5. on the bottom area of the Nifscope workspace, There is a "textures" drop down. click it. 


 


6. there should be two file paths listed in the drop down. simply assign the correct file path to that space and there you go!


 


 


 


I whupped the fix up in like 5 minutes so if it doesnt work, Use the other fix files on this page. Anyway, theres some free Nifscope lessons! :D

I Was having this issue for a while, but I fixed it by downloading this pack manually:

This is a weapon retexture mod for Fallout 3, I then dragged the meshes of the Chinese Assault rifle to New Vegas's meshes folder for 2 handed automatic weapons, and the textures to the game's 2 handed automatic folder. Overwrite existing files. I also replaced FO3's mesh and texture for insurance. I then made sure I had YUP enabled which then corrected the issue. 


TTW Fixes did not fix the Chinese Assault Rifle issue for me, but the regular YUP worked like a charm! Best of luck, hope this is helpful to anyone who needs it!

You cannot use PN Equipment with TTW 3.x , forget it.
