Outcast Hostile

Post by raventower » Fri Nov 08, 2013 9:35 pm

I spoke to a couple people this morning about this but just looking to possible get some more suggestions. I used the MMM_increased_spawns.esp i found on the forums. Not using any other part of MMM. Apparently, this can do weird stuff to factions. Outcasts are hostile to me. Ive disabled increased spawns and want to reset outcasts to neutral or ally. Ive tried F03 console commands and they dont work. NV wont work as far as i know because Fo3 doesnt use reputation. Suggestions? Ive been using this(with changing the 00 to 06 where F03 is in my load order)

player.removefromfaction 00033089 ; (removal from Outcast enemy faction)

clearfactionplayerenemyflag 0001d3ff ; (clear Outcast crimes)

clearfactionplayerenemyflag 00030520 ; (clear OutcastGeneric crimes)

setally 0001b2a4 0001d3ff 0 0 ; (sets player faction and Outcast friendly)

setally 0001b2a4 00030520 0 0 ; (sets player faction and OutcastGeneric friendly)

Open all your mods in xEdit.

Open all your mods in xEdit. Click the plus next to FO3, then the plus next to Factions. Find Outcasts in that list, then find the mod or mods that overwrite it's settings. TTW's settings for the faction should be the ones you use, so either overwrite said mod's settings with TTW's or create a patch plugin using TTW's settings. There's no guarantee this this will work if console commands didn't, but couldn't hurt to try.

Any mod that modifies the behavior of NV Brotherhood factions tend to cause this type of issue. What you can do is open FNVedit and modify any conflicting faction references and match it to TTW's.

It should take about twenty to thirty minutes tops and it isn't difficult to do :)
