Low performance despite good specs.

Something odd seems to be happening when I run TTW. My computer is performing terribly for some reason, even though I've played through Fallout 3 and New Vegas with NMC's textures and either Nevada Skies or Project Reality at a solid 60 fps rate. Most confusingly, however, is that my FPS isn't changing when I change my settings. For example, I started out getting around 20fps with settings on medium, NMC's Performance texture pack, and Project Reality. I then lowered all settings to low, turned off Project Reality, and lowered my resolution to something obscene, and my frame rate didn't change at all. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be going on?

Project reality huh? I had this issue before. Try going into Project Reality's settings and turn off any special affects it has enabled (depth of field, heat shimmers, etc.).

Well... this is odd. Last night, my performance was terrible, and now it seems to be working just fine! I haven't even disabled Project Reality or anything.

You might have had an antivirus scan or defrag scheduled maybe at the time...

I've had issues with project reality and its rain casuing major fps loss.

This hotfix should fix the rain issues and also solve the setting glitches.
