So I made the trip to NV from DC, and it plays the whole opening intro and starts to load in Doc Mitchell's place. After a second or two (and starting to say some radio frequency stuff in the corner) the game CTD's on me and I can't figure it out. None of the mods are causing the problem, tried it with just the FONV, FO3, and TTW files loaded and it does the same thing. I've heard it might be PN's inventory sorter, but even after disabling that it doesn't work. Emptied out my inventory too and it still won't load. Any thoughts?

What mods were you using? Full load order. Even disabling some mods, they leave traces in your Save file, so its like they still keep going.

Pipboy2500_edisleado.esp? Isn't that the Familiar Friend Pipboy 2500 mod? I heard that causes some issues for TTW when first entering New Vegas.

It is, and I'm trying to get rid of it but it doesn't seem to want to go back to the old pipboy. I also have a theory that it might be a problem trying to strip me of items when I first arrive and some of the mod controls being items. Like it can't remove ::ImpsTimescaleAdjuster:: or ::WMX:: or anything. Even tried moving cells, making a new save file, and reloading into it before trying again and it's not going. Not sure what else to try at this point without a full reinstall, and I really want to avoid that again if I can.

Yeah that happens when it tries to remove an item that pops up a message (or instantly re-adds itself) upon removal.
Really no way to fix that, start a new game maybe? (I know thats a nightmare). Disable all mods, save game, exit game, reload game, try the trip.

And I seem to have been correct! Got it working by turning off all the mods that added an item into my inventory to control it, so turned off WMX and ImpsTimescale and the Pipboy 2500 and it loaded right up into it. From here on out I think I should be good since it won't be removing all my items again anymore. Good thing to keep in mind in the future though! Thanks for all the help!
