Can't use NV ticket at Union Station

I installed the mod earlier this year in April (might have been March) and just started playing it a few days ago. I by chance ran into Union Station and explored it, found a NV ticket lying by a terminal, and then found the train. Now I'm a bit confused because I've spent a lot of time wandering around the train trying to figure out how to board it. No dice. I have absolutely no clue how I'm supposed to get on the train. Can anyone help me out?

Oh and I killed the Protectron. I doubt he had anything important to do with boarding, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

It IS a bit hard to find, but just strafe along the train looking at it, maybe turn on your pip-boy light, there is a door near the front, but the only indication is the texture on the train.

you can also enter in the back of the 3rd car and walk all the way trough the train to the engine. the other two cars will travel with you so if you want to stash loot to take from one wasteland to the other this is the place to do it. :)
