I have spent the last two days following hte FAQ's instructions repeatedly to the letter trying to get the main menu options to show up when I load TTW. I've come to find that "The Pitt" and "Point Lookout" are the causes of the problem and despite carrying out the rebuilding and overwriting of the files I still have the issue. I've gotten to the point that I am going to try and reinstall both games and do a complete reinstall. Before I do that however can anyone provide me some advice that may resolve my issue ?
UPDATE - I did a reinstall of Fallout 3 and it seems the problem is because TTW thinks for some reason that my Point Lookout isn't legal or up to date despite the fact that I'm using the current Steam version of Fo3 Goty.
