not responding mean I pressed the "E" button but nothing happens.


Is the startup menu mod the one that you said you need to use to start in NV? < that's the mod you can choose to start in NV or FO3.

Well, after you press E the doc is supposed to...um...I think hes supposed to go sit down in the chair and do the ink painting thing with you but in my games he heads for the door.


Again, if this is not happenning you have one or more mods overwriting the 2-3 quests related to the startup scenes in both DC and Vegas. I can't check which ones and if no-one else around here is available, you'll have to check it yourself.

I skimmed most of this thread, so forgive me if I cover something that has already been mentioned.


If you are using the Start Menu mod created by Thermador then I would say that is not your problem, or not entirely. More likely, one of your mods is modify the NV character generation sequence and conflicting with TTW. I would suggest loading all mods in FNVEdit and checking for conflicts. There exists a manual for FNVEdit if you google.
