Suggested Load Order Not Working

Not a huge problem, just a question


I have tried to figure out what was the problem with my game crashing after I installed this mod. Eventually I just ended up changing my load order(so it is different from the load order suggested in the install instructions), and the game loaded up fine and played fine. I was wondering if this needs to go on the bug tracker or not. I am also aware that this is most likely NOT the optimal Load Order, because I know very little about modding New Vegas or FO3. But, hey it makes the game play and that is good enough for me.

The game loads fine with that order? I am a little skeptical. Doesn't the game crash on startup if a plugin is loaded before its master?

That's what I thought. Maybe that rule doesn't apply to .esm files? Maybe NMM is acting up? Other than that I have no idea.

Fascinating. Started up fine for me too. I imagine there will be problems down the line though.


EDIT: Well, all I did was move TTW.esm above everything except FNV.esm, but still very interesting.

I agree. I was perplexed when I looked at my load order after I had played the game, and it didn't crash and there was TTW.esm right there at the top with (almost) all it's masters below it.
