NMM crashes when installing Main.FOMOD

Post by Squash » Sat Jan 25, 2014 7:31 am

The TTW install went really smooth. However, when I went to install the FOMODs with Nexus Mod Manager but just at the end of the installation of the Main file NMM crashes and Windows forces me to close the program. I've attempted this three times now and the same thing happens each time.

I'm running NMM as Administrator.

  • Windows 8.1 64-bit, Intel i5 1.6 GHz (2.6GHz), 4GB RAM

  • Nexus Mod Manager 0.46

  • TTW Install Log (attached)

  • Current Load Order (N/A)

  • Fallout 3 GOTY (Steam)

  • Fallout 3: New Vegas (Steam)

  • TTW 2.4a (Just downloaded it from the download page this afternoon)

Try making NMM large address

Try making NMM large address aware if you haven't already... though the 4 GB of RAM may present an issue.  I might suggest the manual installation.

No, what CDTalmas means is

No, what CDTalmas means is using some software to make NMM Large Address Aware, not the Fallout New Vegas.

A software that can do this is CFF Explorer for example.

Although I must say that I also have only 4GB ram and never managed to install TTW using NMM, I use Large Address Aware FOMM to install the fomod instead.

Installation issue appears to be resolved thanks to FOMM. I'll play it soon to make sure it worked fine. Thanks for the help guys.
