Reillys Rangers bug

not sure if I should post this here.


 


during the reillys rangers quest, I get up top and the rangers are hostile to me and each other, they kill each other and I killl the survivor and the quest fails, anybody wanna help, heres my load order

Some generic advice:


Grab the merged version of more perks on the NVEC page.


Get rid of all the patches you aren't using.


Make a bashed and/or merged patch.


Signature armor and weapons are included in NVEC.


Use the export function in NMM or bash(?) and attach your load order as a txt file next time.

I'm also having this issue currently. When I reach the rooftop a series of explosions go off for about a minute and then when I reach the staircase leading up to the rangers a pop-up says I'm now hostile even though I never even fired my weapon yet.

Nvm, disregard my last post... It just turns out if any of them die while approaching their position it'll make them hostile. If someone else runs into this problem just run towards them until you hear the super mutants gunfire and then put in the console command "tfc 1" and then fly up to the mutant and type the "kill" command on each of them. For some reason the rangers were unarmed as the mutant attacked, but pulled out their weapons when I got to them. They'll likely die if you don't get rid of the mutants, but even using PN's sprint function couldn't get me their fast enough, so the console command helped. All works well now.
